What exactly is a Hytale Pokemon server?
Think of it as your favorite Pokemon game, but inside the world of Hytale. A Hytale Pokemon server lets you catch, train, and battle creatures in a fully immersive 3D sandbox. Unlike Minecraft Pixelmon, Hytale's engine was built from the ground up for RPG gameplay—so expect smoother animations, smarter AI, and way more depth. We're building Poketale to be the go-to destination for anyone who wants to experience Pokemon in Hytale.
How is this different from Minecraft Pixelmon?
Minecraft Pixelmon is amazing—it's been the gold standard for years. But Hytale changes the game entirely. The modding tools are leagues ahead, which means we can create custom Pokemon models with fluid animations, dynamic battle effects, and behaviors that actually feel alive. Our Hytale Pixelmon server isn't just a port of an old mod; it's a complete reimagining of what Pokemon could look like in a modern sandbox game.
Will there be Gyms and competitive features?
